HeartShare/St. Vincent's Services operates an after-school program at PS 102 free of charge. It is a five-day a week program beginning at PS 102 dismissal (2:40pm) and continuing until 5:15pm.
The afterschool program will begin September 15th, 2025.
Families will be notified whether their child will be in the program this year or placed on the waitlist on the first day of school.
The application period was open from May 19th-June 9th, 2025.
Seats are full for the 2025/2026 school year. You may contact HeartShare directly for an application and ask to be placed on the waitlist for this year. Seats are filled during the year as they become vacant.

The following programs have been recommended by PS 102 Parents and arrange pick up from the PS 102 school yard. They are not affiliated with the school or the PTA.

Urban STEAM Lab is a hands-on program where kids explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math in a fun, creative way. Founded by Alexia Seba-Robles, it’s a safe, inclusive space where every child can be a scientist. With real-world projects (and a pet lizard!), kids build skills and spark curiosity.
The South Brooklyn Art Camp is a creative space where kids build confidence and skills through guided, expressive art projects. Students are encouraged to explore their own ideas while developing technique and critical thinking. Art here supports not just creativity, but also academic growth and personal development.
Brooklyn Art House is a creative space where kids explore their artistic passions through fun after-school programs and camps. With classes for all ages—including portfolio prep for teens—we help young artists express themselves and build confidence. More than just art, our supportive environment encourages friendship, growth, and creativity.
The afterschool program helps children build coordination, connect with peers, and engage in group learning. Through creative activities, they begin to express goals, explore interests, and develop a strong sense of self in a supportive, age-appropriate environment.
The Robbins-Corenman After School Center provides a safe and stimulating environment where children in grades Kindergarten to 5th grade receive academic support, acquire new skills and build positive relationships with their peers.
Triple Promise Academy for the Performing Arts offers classes in acting, improvisation, scene study, Shakespeare, audition preparation, musical theatre, and more! We are committed to providing the most outstanding education available for young actors, singers, and dancers. Group classes are available to students in grades K-12 4-18, and individual coaching sessions are available for students of all ages!
Unleash creativity and let your kids get their hands dirty in our Handbuilding Class! Designed for young artists ages 5 - 11, this fun-filled class will guide them through the magical world of clay. They will learn to shape, mold, and create unique pottery pieces using their imagination. Each session features new projects, from whimsical animals to cool pots, all while developing essential skills like teamwork and problem-solving.
