The best part?
If you are a parent, guardian, teacher, or para at PS 102, you are already a member of our PTA community. There are no applications to fill out and no dues required. Your membership is completely automatic!
While everyone is a member right from the start, it is up to you to get involved in supporting the PTA. You can make a huge difference by donating to our fundraisers and volunteering your time. We strongly believe volunteering should be fun! Whether you have fifteen minutes or a few hours, pitching in is a blast, and it is a great way to meet neighbors, support our school, and share some laughs.
PS 102 PTA provides 1000+ Gingerbread Cookies & Supplies for students decorate. That's alot of dough!
Together, we foster deep connections and raise essential funds to support in-school and after school events that keep our kids thriving.
From fun educational and cultural assemblies and Picture Day to beloved traditions like Gingerbread Cookie Day & The Valentine's Day Fair, we work to bring enriching experiences to every child.
Supporting our amazing teachers and staff is a huge part of our mission.
The PTA proudly steps in to fund everyday classroom needs, ensuring our educators have the extra resources and tools they need to create engaging lessons for our kids. We also believe that every child deserves to participate in school adventures, so we help cover trip hardships so no student misses out on a class field trip due to financial constraints. Plus, we love to celebrate the real magic-makers of PS 102 by planning and funding a fun, unforgettable Teacher Appreciation Week to show them just how much they mean to our community.

How do we keep the PTA running smoothly?
Our PTA has an Executive Board that is elected each year to manage our PTA. They are all parent volunteers just like you! If you want to stay in the loop, you can easily join our regular PTA monthly meetings on Zoom from the comfort of home to hear updates, ask questions, and help plan the magic. PTA meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30PM on Zoom. Agendas & Zoom links are emailed home to parents and guardians via school messenger 10 days before each meeting. (In the event that a holiday or break is on the first Wedensday of the month, the meeting will be the following Wednesday.)
